Netball Shoe Review 2017

The netball shoe review 2017 version has just been completed by our very own netball player and Podiatrist at Podiatry Care. Some minor changes have been seen in 2017 when compared to our 2016 netball shoe review. These changes have been summarised in our netball shoe review 2017 free download. Hopefully this review will help to assist all netballers, coaches, parents of netball players and netball clubs in helping players to make the right shoe choice. More importantly, this should help to prevent netball injury.

Things to consider before buying new netball shoes:

  • Do you wear orthotics?
  • Do you need a neutral, orthotic friendly shoe?
  • Will you be playing on an indoor or outdoor surface?
  • Consider the durability of the sole: a running shoe will wear out a lot quicker (especially on an outdoor surface) than a netball shoe and will have less stability but a running shoe has a lighter more flexible feel and there are more options with width.
  • Do you have a wide foot? D width fitting shoes are the Asics Netburner 18 and the New balance WX 761
  • It must feel comfortable and fit correctly.

Remember…

One of the most important factors in any shoe choice is ensuring the shoe fits correctly. For further information on choosing the right shoe, contact your local Podiatry Care podiatrist.
